Preparations

Chance situations are something that every sim dreads. Many times, it can be as simple as a choice between getting the final promotion to one's dream job, or the shattering of all hopes and dreams.

For me, this is a sign of things to come. I need to buckle down ... I need to prepare.

A touch of wyrm's tail ...

A dash of eye of newt ...

A pinch of frog's brain ...

And ... yes! The perfect reaction to the mixture!

Yes ... that tastes just about right.

Oh, yes! This is gonna be good! Heh-heh-heh-heh!

Just a few more ingredients and then I can start taking steps. But first ... I need to double-check that everything is as it should be.

Let's see ... no, no ... not that one.

Ah. Here it is ... the perfect potion ...

... to deal with those who are getting on my last nerve. *grumbling* Can't believe she left my son, my SON, outside in the snow!

Since coming to Belladonna Cove (Mark II), I have come to place value on certain things, because you just don't know when it might get taken away. My family is the one thing that I value above everything ... even my own life.

My son, who came to me in a way best left to science fiction novels, is special to me because I brought him into the world.

And Josephine, she is a part of me and the woman that I love.

The two of them together are my treasures ... greater value than anything I could ever dig up in my yard.

And Lydia is my crown jewel.

I don't know what I would do if anything happened to her ... which is why I wish she would call a repairman when the trash compactor breaks down.

I will do everything in my power to make sure they are protected from whatever the world throws at them. Though he is old, Max makes a very good watchdog.

He keeps the unsavory characters away.

I do not take threats towards my family lightly. No nanny, no vandal, no CotM will get in my way. I must prepare. I don't know what the future holds, and I certainly don't know if my attempts will yield the desired results, but ... I have to try.

*chews fingernails* Joe, I don't think you should be threatening the CotM.

Er... Joe... it's one thing to be taking steps to stop someone fron kicking over your garbage can. It's something entirely different to imply you're gonig to do something about the CotM. That could end... poorly.

Good call on not trying to juggle ice cream! *giggles* Such a dark magic room there. *shivers*

Are you -sure- you want to be tasting that, Joe? *looks askance at the cauldron*

*blinks* Uh, yeah. That's a rather distracted nanny! First she steals from their money trees, then she leaves Jake sitting out in the snow? *boggles*

Aww, that second shot, if Jake almost looking like he's napping on Max is so CUTE!! *melts*

Ooo, dude, not a good call, threatening the CotM. The nanny and the vandal, well, those I can understand (especially the nanny). But the CotM is crossing the line!
